Most of this should be common sense.

Scenario:
You have a geared Toon/Main. You want to bring another Toon/ALT/ALT spec of main because there isn't really anything to get.


What that means to the raid at that moment (should they allow one of the above).
You were chosen for the raid based on, Skill/class/being previously geared. So they have to not only fill the roll your main had but compensate for an under geared Toon in the raid.

What that means to the raid for that raid week cycle.
Instead for powering through content we have on farm for other raid members that still could use an item here or there. The speed of which this content is cleared slows down, and doesn't allow ample time to work on new content. Thus slowing raid progression.

On the topic of changing mains:

People can change their mains.
Acceptable reasons to change mains/main spec are as follows.
1. To change mains for the good of a static raid you normally attend. example "a raid having to much of one type of class ie. melee/healer/tank/ranged.
2. You have played the toon for a short time, raid wise. You don't not enjoy playing that class, and have not geared it up as much as possible.

Unacceptable reasons are as follows.
Because you don't need anymore gear for that toon from the content we are on.
Because you are a Loot Whore.

On the Topic of gear for alts:

ALT/ALT spec will never. I repeat NEVER get gear over a main toons main spec. Regardless of whether its a minor upgrade for said main/spec or not.
An ALT vs Mains ALT spec. A Mains ALT spec is generally more useful to a raid.
Case and point "some fights require 2 healers ie DPS race" "some fights require 3 healers ie prolonged fight" hence main off specs can be useful. With that said gear will generally go a mains off spec over an ALT.
This does have a gray area and is left to the better judgment of the loot distributors.

Possible ALT runs or alts taken to runs.
That can and will happen. Its left to the better judgment of your Raid Leader if he or she will take alts.
We have been debating adding alt runs in. Right now its a question of what day and time can we do it.



Things to keep in mind about raiding and loot.

This game is based on greed. Sad but true, but that doesn't mean you have to be.
Its alright to pass on things to other static members of your said raid for the betterment of raid progress.
If you cant make it to your said raid that week. Feel free to try and join another of our raids or even pug one.
"NOTE if you do pug don't call on our other raider mains to go. And if you are a main, don't pug when you have signed up and are expected to show up on your normal weekly one. Because if you do, you just fucked your raid over"
The raids go where they need to for speed of progress and the betterment of all.
"None of our raids will ever bend to the will of one person. Or be held hostage by one member to go/or not go somewhere because they don't want to/or need anything from there. If that does happen i will gkick you in a heart beat with a smile on my face. While i take screen shoots of your tells to me to remember your tears. Then will post them for others to laugh at."
